Long Island

Long Island is located in the Whitsunday Islands, right next door to the Great Barrier Reef.

There are over ten kilometres of walking tracks in the surrounding tropical forests of Long Island, in the Whitsundays. Many of the tracks lead to secluded and picturesque beaches and lookouts. You can also get out and about with a range of tours and cruises available for you to visit other islands and nearby coral reefs.

Peppers Palm Bay is an intimate and secluded retreat set amongst the tropical beauty and glorious turquoise waters of Long Island. Children aren't catered for, and the resort consists of just 21 beachfront bungalows, bures and cabins with no televisions or telephones. Long Island offers parasailing, jet skiing, sailing, glass bottom boats and water-skiing; and is a great place for snorkelling, scuba diving and a visit to the Great Barrier Reef.
