Long Island

Long Island is located in the Whitsunday Islands, right next door to the Great Barrier Reef.

There are over twenty kilometres of walking tracks in the surrounding tropical forests of Long Island, in the Whitsundays. Many of the tracks lead to secluded and picturesque beaches and lookouts. You can also get out and about with a range of tours and cruises available for you to visit other islands and nearby coral reefs.

Long Island Activities

Long Island offers parasailing, jet skiing, sailing, glass bottom boats and water-skiing; and is a great place for snorkelling, scuba diving and a visit to the Great Barrier Reef.

Other activities available to visitors of Long Island include; fishing, island cruises, mini golf, tube rides, catamaran lessons and rainforest nature walks, just to name a few.
